The original song ‘Drift' has been a huge success, opening many doors for Teejay, including a debut on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart at No. 47 and a record deal with Warner Records.
The song, which has elements of Afrobeats and 90s dancehall nostalgia, has 6.8 million plays on Spotify, while the official video has 14 million views on YouTube. The remix with Davido is expected to give the song a new life on the international market.”
