This year, Westside Gunn has already released three albums — Pray For Paris, Flygod Is An Awesome God 2, and his Shady Records debut, Who Made The Sunshine, as of yesterday. The project sounds like a traditional Gunn release from the top, which means gritty, loosely arranged tracks with hyper-vivid images of high fashion and street brutality.
Westside used the opportunity, as planned, to call the Griselda banners and rally the troops, closing things out with the crew cut “98 Sabres” produced by Just Blaze.
